The verge is the transition zone between motorway and landscape. A narrow strip laid out to hide things: noise, views, the presence of the infrastructure itself. But the strip turns out to have an ecology and an aesthetic of its own.
This ongoing project looks at the verge as an unintended subject: a place where maintenance, decay and wild growth meet. The first images feel out the border between what was built and what grows.
