The sunset is one of the most photographed things in the world. Usually at the seaside, usually at the end of a long and pleasant day. What people seem to want to hold onto is not the light itself, but the feeling that comes with it: the salt air, the slowing down, the sense of a good day closing.
This series starts with that impulse and takes it somewhere else. Trade centres, business parks, the glazed facades of office buildings. Every evening, the same golden light arrives here too. It hits the glass and something unexpected happens: the reflection breaks, the outside mixes with the inside, and for a moment you can see through. A desk. A plant. Someone still at their computer while the sun goes down.
