In the series The Street Is Our Canvas I follow how the city develops through the traces people leave behind. Graffiti, wear, posters pasted over one another: the textures and patterns of a city on the move.
My photographs honour what grows organically inside the made city. They show how people relate to the city and shape it. I look for the beauty of the imperfect and the everyday, and show how the city changes and tells its own stories through what people leave behind.
