In de serie "The Street is our Canvas" leg ik vast hoe de stad zich ontwikkelt door de sporen die mensen achterlaten. Graffiti, slijtage en posters die over elkaar heen geplakt zijn, vormen de texturen en patronen van het voortbewegende stadsleven. Mijn foto's zijn een eerbetoon aan de tegenstelling van dingen die organisch ontstaan binnen het gecreëerde stadsleven. Ze laten zien hoe mensen zich verhouden tot de stad en hoe zij deze vormgeven. Ik kijk naar de schoonheid van het imperfecte en het alledaagse en toon hoe de stad verandert en zijn eigen verhalen vertelt, door de sporen die mensen achterlaten.

In the series "The Street is our Canvas" I capture how the city develops through the traces people leave behind. Graffiti, wear and tear, and posters layered on top of each other form the textures and patterns of the moving city life. My photos are a tribute to the contrast between things that organically arise within the created city life. They show how people relate to the city and shape it. I focus on the beauty of imperfection and the everyday, and show how the city changes and tells its own stories through the traces people leave behind.
